| John C (JC) Milstead |
John C (JC) Milstead, 86, of Plano passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2012.
JC was born August 16, 1925 in McKinney, Texas to John W. and Lizzie Robinson Milstead.JC served his country proudly during the Korean War and shortly after his separation from the Army found employment with Baptist Foundation of Texas assisting donors to the Texas Baptist institutions and agencies as a trust officer and then as the Estate Secretary. He retired from the Foundation in 1996 after 40 years of dedicated service.
He is preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife of 68 years, Opal (Smith) Milstead and several cousins. Funeral service is 10 a.m., Saturday, July 28, 2012 at First Baptist Church Plano in the Chapel.
