LISDEF Golf Classic
Lewisville ISD Education Foundation's fourth annual Golf Classic will take place June 7 at Tour 18 Golf Club in Flower Mound. In 2011, the event raised more than $36,000 to support students and teachers within the Lewisville ISD. With this year's expanded program to include a morning and afternoon scramble golf format, the foundation expects to double the attendance to more than 300 community members, as well as double the money raised.

East Texas Baptist
Flower Mound's Heather Jeanette Roberts (nursing) graduated from East Texas Baptist University on May 5.
Tarleton State
Jacob Milles of Flower Mound was inducted into the Tarleton State University chapter of Phi Eta Sigma, the oldest freshman academic national honor society, during its annual induction ceremony in April.
Wilkes University
Jason Carney, of Flower Mound, graduated from Wilkes University on May 19 with a Master of Arts degree in creative writing.
LeTourneau University
Richard DeBellevue, of Flower Mound, was named to the LeTourneau University Dean's List for the Spring 2012 semester.
Ouachita University
Katelyn Mustain, magna cum laude, graduated from Ouachita University on May 12 with a bachelor of science degree in dietetics and nutrition.
