Police search for identity theft suspect

Plano -- The Plano Police Department is requesting help in identifying a suspect in a recent Identity Theft incident that occurred at the Bank of America in the 5700 block of Legacy Drive.


The suspect allegedly assumed the identity of another individual for the purpose of obtaining employment.

According to the victim, her purse was stolen from her vehicle in January 2012 and the suspect assumed her name, address and social security number.


The suspect is described as a Black female with a medium build.

This investigation is currently on-going.
