Raising Cane's pitches in to help tornado victims
From Staff Reports
Thousands of residents across North Texas need assistance following Tuesday's devastating tornado outbreak. To help meet these needs, Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers has partnered with the North Texas Food Bank to collect non-perishable food items at the company's 16 restaurants throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
People are asked to drop off non-perishable food, snacks, toiletries, bottled water and other items in the designated boxes at their nearest Raising Cane's on April 6, 7 and 9. Candy for Easter baskets for children displaced by the storms will also be collected through Monday. Raising Cane's will be closed on Sunday.
The stores will not be collecting clothing or other large items since the North Texas Food Bank cannot accept them.
Raising Cane's has two locations in Plano: 6513 West Park Boulevard and 1000 West 15th St. To find other locations, visit www.raisingcanes.com/locations.
